Nomad Hackney is proudly based in the heart of London’s iconic East End. Since opening our doors in 2014, we’ve become one of the most respected names in the global barbering community—welcoming clients from around the world every single day.

We offer more than just haircuts. Our services encompass the full spectrum of men’s wellness, blending traditional techniques with inspiration from barbershops and rituals across the globe.

Every appointment runs for 45 minutes—something rarely found outside of Mayfair—which allows us to deliver an exceptional experience. Each service includes a complimentary hair wash, hot towel, and hot lather neck shave, along with massage techniques built into our shaves and beard trims. It’s more than grooming—it’s a truly invigorating and relaxing experience from start to finish.

PLEASE READ - 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY.

Due to ongoing no-shows and last-minute cancellations—which significantly impact us as a small business—we now require card details to secure all bookings.

If you need to cancel, please give at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer the slot to someone else.

Clients who cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or no-show twice or more will be asked to prepay for all future appointments.

Cancellations or no-shows within 12 hours of your scheduled time will be charged 100% of the service fee.

Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may also be charged as a no-show, so please aim to arrive early.

Colin has been cutting hair for 12 years, beginning his career in Newcastle and working at Nomad since 2021 before taking a break to travel and work in Malta. Colin’s career has taken him around the world, including time spent living in Australia. Known for his expertise in scissor cuts and tapers/fades, Colin now brings his experience and passion for hair to his role as co-owner of the Nomad Hackney store.
