Nomad Hackney is located in the heart of London's famous East End.
We opened in 2014 and went on to become one of the most famous barbershops in the global barbering community, with customers from all over the world travelling to visit every day
Our services encompass everything that falls under the category of men’s wellness, with a focus on experiences and inspiration from around the world.
We provide world-class customer service that we are constantly levelling up. All shaves and haircuts run at 45-minute slots which is rarely seen outside of Mayfair. This allows us to offer a complimentary hair wash, hot towel and hot lather neck shave with every haircut and incorporate various massage techniques into the shaves & beard trims for a truly invigorating and relaxing experience.
PLEASE READ - 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY.
Due to ongoing no shows and last minute cancellations which affects us hugely as a small business, card details are now required for bookings.
If you need to cancel please let us know 24 hours before so we can accommodate another booking - clients who no show or cancel within 24 hours twice or more will be required to prepay for future appointments online.ALL appointments or no shows within 12 hours of your allocated slot will be charged 100% of the booking.
Late clients by more than 10 minutes will also be subject to the no show charge - please be early for your appointment.

Colin has been cutting hair for 12 years, beginning his career in Newcastle and working at Nomad since 2021 before taking a break to travel and work in Malta. Colin’s career has taken him around the world, including time spent living in Australia. Known for his expertise in scissor cuts and tapers/fades, Colin now brings his experience and passion for hair to his role as co-owner of the Nomad Hackney store.
Alicia began her barbering journey in 2005 in Spain, moving through London to manage in Hackney, and enhancing her skills with education in hairdressing. Passionate about her craft, she values client relationships and has a keen interest in continuous learning.
Miguel has been cutting hair for coming up to 20 years and has spent time working in Australia and doing guest spots in other countries. Since the opening of the store in 2014 Miguel has built up a loyal customer base who have supported him through his absences. Miguel generally works every few weeks in London.
